MIKE BAYLISS

Mike was born in Walsall, West Midland, UK, and is an entrepreneur that owns companies in several industries including building supply and property development.

He is also the founder and owner of Bespoke Brewery, which opened in 2012 with the mission to make great craft beer! Since it's launch Bespoke Brewery has won a number of awards its amazing beer creations.

In April this year Mike was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Determined to maintain a positive mindset and to give him a new focus while battling his illness, he decided to finish 'The Bedtimeasnaurus', a collection of funny dinosaur poems that he started writing, for fun, over 25 years ago.

Mike lives in the beautiful Forest of Dean, with his wife and 3 children, and the creation of this book allowed him to turn his love for writing, into something that he could share with his children and in turn share with other families too. It has been the realisation of a dream to bring his dinos to life for everyone to enjoy.

Teaming up with Mike to bring his dinosaurs to life was illustrator Megan Egan and Imaginate Creative. A fine art illustrator, respected street artist, graphic designer and budding art director, Megan got to work in capturing the characters and personalities of each of the dinosaurs, in these beautifully illustrated worlds.

Megan has many achievements to date, including being the winner of the D&AD New Blood Pencil Award 2017, she created one the of The Big Sleuth 2017 Art Trail Bears in Birmingham, won a place at the Femme Fierce, Leake Street All Girl Takeover, Banksy Tunnel, London and was shortlisted for Young Travel Photographer of the Year 2011
